What is Creativity Coaching?

Creativity coaching is the practice of holistically tending to your creative instrument (you!) in order to bring about a state of internal and external harmony and awareness that kindles the artistic impulse.

While I have an eclectic approach to creativity coaching, the primary system I use is Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching, which was developed by Jill Bandonsky.

Kaizen-Muse coaching is a playful, effective, and active approach to working with a number of different challenges that are common in the creative process. Its methodology is specifically designed to work with common traits of creatives, such as rebelliousness and sensitivity. Kaizen-Muse tools center around breaking daunting creative dreams down into small (like, really small) steps and lowering expectations so that forward motion is not only possible but often fun! The result is breaking out of inertia, increasing motivation, and reconnecting with the pure joy of creativity.

These sessions aim to heal creative wounding and foster a healthier relationship with artistic identity. Greater holistic wellbeing tends to ripple outward from this central focus.

What is The Artist’s Way?

This Artist’s Way creativity coaching intensive is a transformative experience based on Julia Cameron’s renowned book The Artist’s Way. Through daily morning pages, weekly artist’s dates, coaching sessions, and inspiring exercises (in and out of session) we forge a sequential path of creative recovery and self-exploration.

This program is for those wishing to reconnect with and strengthen their creative impulse. If you are feeling blocked, uninspired, or struggling with self-doubt, this intensive is for you. If you have tried The Artist’s Way before but felt stuck, got overwhelmed, or had trouble finishing the program, this intensive is for you.
