Therapy & Coaching for Creative Healing

Thanks so much for reading more about my practice!

There are two ways that I work with people: therapy and creativity coaching. Both are focused on helping sensitive, creative, and introspective people develop deeper wellbeing, self-understanding, and a sustainable connection to their creative lives. My work blends psychological depth with imagination and self-expression—helping you feel more confident, centered, and creatively alive.

Across both offerings, I draw from depth therapy (Jungian and psychodynamic approaches), client-centered therapy, expressive arts therapy, and Kaizen-Muse creativity coaching. This means we work gently but meaningfully — focusing on small, doable steps, creative experimentation, and understanding the unconscious patterns that shape your life and art.

The Heart of My Work

Whether we’re focusing on therapy or coaching, the goal is the same: to help you build a grounded, creative, self-compassionate relationship with yourself—and from there, to create the kind of art and life that feel most true to you.

A Note on Fit

My work—both in therapy and coaching—is best suited for people who are generally stable but feeling stuck, disconnected, or creatively unfulfilled, and who are ready to grow beyond “just okay” into a more authentic, thriving version of themselves.

I’m not the best fit for those currently in acute crisis or dealing with active eating disorders, substance use concerns, self-harm, suicidality, psychosis, or untreated trauma, as these issues deserve specialized, focused care. Before beginning, I’ll ask new clients to complete a brief questionnaire to make sure we’re a good fit.

Therapy for Emerging Adults (~18–25)

My therapy practice is focused on young adults who are in the process of finding their direction—emotionally, personally, and creatively. Together, we explore how early experiences and family patterns may be influencing how you see yourself and what’s possible for you now.

This work can help you:

  • Understand yourself more deeply and compassionately

  • Make sense of confusing or painful emotional patterns

  • Build confidence, coping skills, and self-trust

  • Learn to care for yourself in ways that actually feel good

  • Clarify who you are and what kind of life you want to create

I don’t take insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Creativity Coaching (Adults of All Ages)

Creativity coaching is for anyone wanting to move through creative blocks, procrastination, self-doubt, or perfectionism, and reconnect with the joy of making things again. This is a more focused, forward-moving process designed to help you take gentle, consistent action toward your creative goals—without burnout, shame, or pressure.

We might explore:

  • Overcoming creative resistance and overwhelm

  • Finding structure and flow in your creative practice

  • Navigating fear, self-criticism, and imposter syndrome

  • Reconnecting with the original spark behind your work

  • Building sustainable, nourishing creative habits

Because coaching is not a clinical service, I cannot provide a superbill or documentation for insurance.
